IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA!!!

Yes, It happens only in India and it can really happen only in India.
Day before yesterday I read the above story in a Hindi daily at a Chai (Tea) shop. After reading the story one question rose up – when will this system change? And will it ever?




Actually, last year in june ,In Chirakoot ,on proper intelligence inputs, U.P. Police raided a house and shot dead a dacoit having a prize money of Rs. 50,000 over him. Four soldiers died in the encounter (No officer died).
Everone praised the task done by Police at that time.



Now, after a year, names of the brave policemen were to be sent to President`s Office for the bravery awards to be given by the H`ble President. So the `Sadeiv Tatpar ` U.P.Police decided to send the names of Mr. Brajlal ADG(Law and Order) and the then police SO for the bravery awards ,ADG was in Lucknow during operation And we should feel proud by knowing that the name of any of the four martyrs, (the four late policemen) was nowhere on the list.




The four policemen`s names ,who lossed their lives while fighting for us,were nowhere on the list just because they were simple sipahi , the soldiers.
Is it the RANK which decides ones` love for the nation? Is it the high RANK which is required to get even shortlisted for the bravery awards despite losing their lives, forget being alive??? Is it required to have reach to the upper level to get bravery awards????




These are some unanswered questions and I think these cant be answered easily in the environment,the situation our country is in!!
This is not the only such case and this is not the only department where such thing occurs . Indian Army is also famous for the same.



I love Armymen so the army,I don’t want to write against them but i`ll write some facts!!
I know many men in Army,They all tell the same story that in Army the value of a low rank holder e.g. soldier(sipahi by rank) is nothing.
Unless you are a officer,you wont get any appreciation even.If any incident occurs,any encounter occurs,for e.g. many militants are shot dead.Then,the major or any other officer involved in operation from the back side will be rewarded.No weightage is given to a low rank holder despite performing better than officer.
Believe it or not but this is harsh reality of Indian system .I would blame media also for some extent(only for some extent,some channels show very nice stories rather reality ).



Generally Media also highlights the high rank holder only. Like after 26/11 incident,where several sipahis died,several officers died but Media generally kept highlighting the officers only.I also salute officers work too,but why underestimate others work??Even now we may count on finger tips the name of few officers involved in 26/11 but no name of Sipahis involved.All thanks to Media.
Nothing can be done! We all are adapt of the system and system cant change because we cant change!!
We live in a country where the death compensations are given on the mode of travel basis.If one died in Bus accident he`ll get Rs.10000,If died in Train Accident one`ll get Rs.1 Lakh and if one died in Air Crash,he`ll get Rs.20 Lakh.
Thanks to our system.This will go forever I think…………..

MARRIAGE - The simple word with the deep meaning with which the two hearts officially become single.



In India,at different places ,marriages happen in different traditions ,with different way,in different budgets.
Largely.the marriages i attended till date were almost of same format but recently few days back i attended a unique marriage of my friend`s friend.I am going to write different experience of mine at the marriage.
Let me clear in beginning that it was not at all a low budget marriage,it was a good budget one,only they followed the tradition of village!!

The venue was a village(Girl`s home) around 25km from Varanasi city and 20 km inside from the Allahabad - Varanasi highway.
I,alongwith my friend Hariom,reached the place,from where the whole baraat was to move to the village(the venue).
I was a bit surprised by seeing that around 20-30 cars where ready to move.From there started the cavalcade to move to venue.Our car also joined the cavalcade.After passing and leaving behind many villages we reached the venue ,the village,name of which i dont remember.
When i alight,i saw everyboby`s car was fully covered with the dust.
There was a huge ground(the khet in actual) where the arrangements were made for us,the baaratees.
A big nice tent was there,good lighting arrangements were also there.But inside the tent,no chairs were there,There were all carpets on ground for everyone to sit on.
Interestingly a designer single chair was kept at back in tent for the dhooleraja (the groom).This was the completely unique type of arrangement i had ever seen in my life.Lets move on ,
Dhooleraja came out of his fully decorated red coloured Honda city car and sat on his only chair.
Let me also tell you not even a single woman or girl was there in baraat,a big mess!
A big drum full of water was kept there in the ground with a single mug.Come,take a sip and move aside,let the person behind you,drink water.This was the scene there
If you dint left the area just after having water,crowd would have pushed you outside that place automatically.
Now,if one want to sit or sleep,some arrangements were there too,many folding beds were kept there one over another,
Whoever wants to sleep,go pick one,and choose any place for your folding bed.
One hour passed,but nothing was offered to any of one.Bhojpuri songs were being played there in full volume,lyrics of which i dont understand.We were waiting for
something to happen.Then we saw two man coming with hundreds of packets in a rickshaw.They started distributing one packet to each but chilren attacked them.Our driver Pappuji also managed packets for us.Sweets were there inside.
Then started the ghudchadi!!Specially girls were hired to dance.They were dancing in front of the mare alongwith other male baaratees(This was completely new for me.I had never seen dancing girls in marriages).
At last,we reached the girl`s house where dinner arrangements were made.The crowd attacked the dinner,we all know the village crowd!! I laughed a lot seeing all this mess.
However,arrangements were good,decoration was nice,(afterall groom was Engineer) but all goes in vain in front of crowd.
We also had our dinner,attended the function and returned to the saame tent.The scene was different now.All those hired dancing girls were dancing on the stage with DJ on different bhojpuri songs.Hundreds of villagers were sitting on the ground,watching the dance,whitsling in between.
And to add to the taste,two policemen were also arranged for managing the crowd.This was a typical bhojpuri movie scene.
WE also watched the dance for few minutes.Then we left the venue around 1 A.M.



IT was a complete different experience for me,i enjoyed a lot,i laughed a lot.
It was a full-on Shaadi.!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.- I would like to clear that there is no intention of mine to disregard or dishonour the grooms` or brides` family.This was a normal marriage for them.I only explained,what i felt.

I think everyone of us loves india !! everybody loves GANGA!!
Everyone of us keep saying everywhere - we are proud to be an indian! ,we have oldest civilization! ,we have rivers like Yamuna ,Ganga!

Lets talk about the state of river Ganga today,recently declared our national river!!
Yes,we are proud of having river Ganga amongst us but definitely Gangaji may be felling ashamed for being amongst us!!

I wont be wrong if i say that we have converted Ganga! our Ganga into Gutter!!
Dont believe?? look --



yes!Believe or not this is our GANGA!!
What we have done to it !! People fire dead bodies on the bank of river ganga the ashes of which goes to river making it more....??? When we will be able to stop such rituals??? Jaago Logo Jaago!!



Some Dead bodies are even dropped into the ganga directly which remained flowing on banks all over.Such dead bodies rot after few days and add to beauty of river!!!!

These all are true pictures.A sense of sadness creeps in,after seeing such pictures!!but this feeling remains limited to feeling only,it is not converted into action.!!





Large no. of NGOs are working for making Ganga pure.Several organisations have come forward for making Ganga pure but their outcome is yet to see.
Nothing can be done and no organisatioon can make Ganga pure unless
we-the people take the pledge for making Ganga pure by spreading awareness
among the people,stopping the rituals like burning dead bodies etc.





Lets take the pledge for make our Ganga in Varanasi as pure as beautiful as it is in Rishikesh!!!
